About Me
Before becoming a Counsellor, I had a varied sales, management, and hospitality career while raising my son. However, I have always dreamed of becoming a counsellor and helping people through life’s challenges. This, in part, is because I, too, have experienced what it feels like to go through many trials and challenges and how useful it can be to have the proper support and help during those seasons.
Others may describe me as authentic, honest, caring, and empathic. You could say what you see is what you get with me. I have always naturally wanted to help others and see them become their best selves, and I have dedicated my life to that.
I am originally from Wellington but moved to the beautiful Bay of Plenty over twenty years ago. I have been married to my husband for 26 years and have one adult son and three grandchildren. I enjoy reading good books, watching movies and keeping fit. I also love spending time with friends and family and travelling when possible.
